RetroWorks Inc. is committed to manufacturing furniture with exceptional quality, durability, utility and craftsmanship. Our product quality standards are exacting and as such, we are committed to customer satisfaction. Because of this, returns, refunds and exchanges will be accepted up to 14 days from receipt of your purchase.
Canceling or Changing Orders
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to email@example.com before that time which you receive a shipment confirmation and tracking number.
In the event that the cancellation of an order is submitted to us after the shipment confirmation and tracking number have been sent to you, the cancellation will be subject to our return and refunds policies. This means that your original purchase price and applicable taxes will be refunded to you, but the original shipping cost you paid upon purchase is non-refundable and will be treated as a re-stocking fee and applied against any return-shipping costs we incur.
We carefully inspect each item prior to shipment. Similarly, we require you to inspect the furniture upon receipt and sign for it upon acceptance of the delivery. IF YOU IDENTIFY DAMAGE, please indicate this on the delivery bill you have to sign and contact us at 1-877-264-8632 or firstname.lastname@example.org to advise us of the damage caused by delivery within 24 hours of receipt. If we are not advised of the damage from delivery within 24 hours of receipt, we will consider the item to have been delivered in prime condition.
If you are returning an item to us that was damaged during shipping, please email us photos of the damage at email@example.com so we can file a claim with the shipping company for reimbursement.
RetroWorks has adopted a philosophy of fairness. We understand that you have purchased our furniture online without the benefit of being able to see it in person. In this spirit, we will accept returns of items in their original, unused, undamaged condition, within 14 days of receipt.
If, within 14 days of receipt, you decide you need to return an item to us, RetroWorks will accept returns from you if the product is still in its original, unused, undamaged condition. There are no re-stocking fees that apply, however, your refund total will equal your original purchase price plus applicable taxes, less the cost of the return shipping.
To return your product, advise us first in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon receiving your request, we will make arrangements for return shipping for you.
You are responsible for ensuring that the product(s) is(are) well packaged in a fashion that is suitable for heavy items on a long shipment, including crating if necessary, cushioning of glass, sturdy boxing and strapping.
RetroWorks will make arrangements for a shipping carrier to pick the item up at your location. You will be contacted by the carrier to arrange for the pick-up. Pick-ups are generally scheduled with you between 9am and 5pm Monday thru Friday and a four-hour window for pick up is usually provided.
Customers must be available during a scheduled pick-up time window and customers are also responsible for any costs associated with a re-scheduling a pick-up time if they fail to be present for the scheduled appointment.
Just as is the case for deliveries, the pick-ups of your purchase will be made by the shipping carrier on a curb-side basis. Shipping personnel are not responsible for obtaining items from inside your home. Since our furniture is very large and very heavy, please ensure that you have someone present to assist you with bringing it outside to the truck.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your return, and whether it has met our “original condition” criteria for refund and that your refund has been processed in accordance with this policy. Your refund total will equal your original purchase price plus applicable taxes, less the cost of the return shipping.
Your refund will show up as a credit applied to your original method of payment within a 1 to 2 weeks after we have confirmed the refund to you.
CHANGE NOTICE: As with any of our administrative and legal notice pages, we reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. As such, the contents of this page can and will change over time. Accordingly, this page could read differently as of your very next visit. These changes are necessitated and carried out by RetroWorks Inc. in order to protect you, RetroWorks Inc., our website and social media. If this page is important to you, you should check back frequently as no other notice of changed content will be provided either before or after the change takes effect.
